OLD BOYS
At Durban Preparatory High School, the bond doesn’t end when the bell rings for the last time. Becoming a DPHS Old Boy means carrying the Prep spirit with you through high school, into adulthood, and across generations. The DPHS Old Boys' community honours our school’s proud history and keeps the Prep brotherhood alive well beyond your time on campus. It’s a network rooted in shared experiences, lifelong friendships and an enduring commitment to uphold the values learned at Prep.
WHY THE OLD BOYS MATTER
The Old Boys network is not just about nostalgia, it is a living legacy that grows stronger with each new class that leaves our gates.
Whether you are reconnecting with classmates, supporting current initiatives, or mentoring the next generation of learners, Once a Prep boy, always a Prep boy.
NOTABLE OLD BOYS
DPHS has produced many remarkable individuals — from sportsmen and entrepreneurs to artists and leaders — who continue to make their mark locally and internationally. DPHS proudly celebrates the achievements of its Old Boys and welcomes them back to inspire, motivate and engage with the next generation of DPHS boys.
